Its function acts as a mirror to its title “Dough,” a playful synonym for money that originated in the 19th century when the accumulation or earning of one’s money was equivalent to the earning of one’s food or bread. But unlike its etymology, Dough’s playful twang alludes to its contents; taking heavy subject matter and rendering it into more easily consumable information for a digitally and informationally over-stimulated demographic.
